Clarification on the review
We have received many comments with doubts about the review. I think some backers have misunderstood our words. It is not that we are not revising the texts, it is that due to our revision method we needed more time. Since it is a complex method that needs more time.
So to solve all the doubts we are going to explain what we have done these months to finish the rulebook.
Review method:
Here we explain our process with any campaign scenario:
Development –The campaign already has a previous script so that the story has coherence. Knowing that the heroes are at a specific point in the story and must face an already defined enemy, the scenario is created. This first draft of the scenario is created by myself and I make some adjustments to make it work properly.
Internal testing – The development team agreed to play no less than 3 times every new scenario. Making the adjustments that we consider.
Drafting – At this point, with an already functional scenario, it is drafted as it should be published in the rulebook. With layout and diagrams. Before sending it to external testing, an additional text check is performed.
External Testing – We have 3 independent testing groups. Each group plays games and sends us a report explaining their feelings, any imbalance or error in the texts. Groups play varying the number and heroes chosen.
Revision – Scenarios that have a text error or imbalance are modified.
2nd External Testing – At this point, the scenarios that have been modified are sent back to the test groups that test again if they are well adjusted. This process is repeated until the test groups give their approval.
Last review – Once the scenario has been approved, it is sent to an external reviewer to check for errors in the texts, for coherence or misspellings.
The testers and reviewers are people who do this work in their spare time, so in some cases it has been delayed due to personal issues (remember that we are still in a pandemic and there has been a Christmas in between). We could have speeded up the process by skipping steps, but the end result would have been affected.
Book size:
The game has a lot of material, as we already said in the KS campaign, the rules and the campaign book would be more or less 140 pages. Finally there are 164 (64 rulebook and 100 campaign book). There are those who also seem to have complained about being very large, we must bear in mind that all the expansions and extras are there. The narrative part alone adds about 20 pages. We have spared no explanations to make everything as clear as possible. We do not believe that it could have been done in much fewer pages being in A5 size and without greatly reducing the size of the letter and the outlines.
Current material:
Some people have asked us to upload the pdfs for further backer review. We must say that the rulebook has been uploaded since before the campaign (more than 6 months ago) and it is a document that has been updated when it has received changes.
You can find it here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_Swi9sXRXel9ejZ9PeCtpSLnqe9udPNs?usp=sharing
In the same drive you will find the prologue, this prologue will not finally be in the campaign book. All the settings in the book are new. If anyone has any questions about what the game is like, you can check out this review from a player made when we released the rulebook and prologue during the campaign:
https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2709053/prologue-scenario-1-playthrough
You can also play the prologue and whet your appetite for the game. This way you can get an idea of what you will find in the campaign book.
Additional review by backers:
Some backers have asked us to upload PDFs before sending them to print for further review. As we have said, the rulebook has been published for more than 6 months. It is clear that 100 pairs of eyes see better than 20 and there may be some minor bugs to work out. But this process can take a long time and we don't want to delay the delivery of the game much longer, we trust the work of our reviewers and testers. But we also understand that, as the first campaign was so bad, some backers prefer to check that the work is the best it can be.
So here you have the campaign book, with the latest version:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c0iWqH3thPq-3r-q7wtaMyCBwaS-olCV/view?usp=sharing
At this time the translator and several people are doing the final revision. Initially this message was to announce that we would soon send to print. But we are going to extend the shipment to the printer by two weeks. So this time will serve for the backers to review it as you have asked us.
Any error or suggestion that you detect please send us an email to [email protected]
We hope that the next message will be to announce that everything has gone well and that we have sent the books to the press.
All the best.

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/140OlDx9faBID5CYVlwQQvc_CUUvyHTfc?usp=sharing
https://boardgamegeek.com/thread/2709053/prologue-scenario-1-playthrough
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EEoiU4jwpoWXi6oalQyHaDJy1FLIunl0/view?usp=sharing
Cuidaros.
